Things I do to make a living

'Your Mum!'. No seriously, I teach English to those who think shouting 'Your Mum' is the height of sophistication. And compared to some of their utterances it is.

Things that make me smile

Geese. Pub Quiz machines. Drinking pudding wine. Silly puns and worse even literary allusions. Roof-top pools in cold weather. Murder Mysteries (books, films and television). Going to the opera/ballet for people-watching, over-priced white wine and, of course, the music.
