Village News: March

Hello Everyone. We had an amazing response to our last newsletter, and this one too is gloom free. Evenings are getting lighter, Easter Eggs are on the shelves and we've just sorted this year's Spring and Summer Parties (we're all in for a treat!). We have some venue news, the chance to win tickets to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert; and the opportunity to meet some lovely, non-pretentious, down to earth, professional men. Because that's the point!

So whilst the squirrels procrastinate in their trees*, please digest what follows, and enjoy. Warmest wishes.

We hope you enjoy!

The Village Drinks Team :-)

Dining Club - What's happening?

That’s the great thing about news. You just don’t know what’s going to happen next. Like a bank going under! But it’s not all bad news. For a start, our new dining club has gotten off to a great start; over 80 new members signed up in less than four weeks! We’d like you to join if you haven’t already – because most of us like food, and we’re pretty sure we all like men!

Free entry to all our upcoming speaker events
Half-priced entry to all our dating events
Weekday drinks discounts at the Green Carnation in Soho
  Monthly theatre ticket discounts
  Invites to wine tastings

To join the club and attend the next dinner, just click here.

A Very Large...

Speaker line up! We’re delighted to confirm that John Barrowman, Lord Chris Smith and Alan Duncan MP are all about to attend and speak at our Political and Media networking evenings.

Our annual Spring Lecture – kindly sponsored by Giambroni Law - will take place at No4 Hamilton Place on the 24 March, with special guest Lord Chris Smith. To reserve your place, please click here and login but please note tickets are limited. Full Dining Club members attend for free.

Charity Corner

Gay graduates – well all graduates - are having a tough time finding jobs at the moment. So this year, we’re supporting the LGB Job Fair; a charitable venture run annually.

We’ll be there; advising gay graduates how to make the best of their social and business networks. For more info, take a look here.

Love is in the Air: Speed Dating

As Spring has well and truly sprung, we’ll be speed dating again this month at the Green Carnation.

Half the places available are already reserved. If you would like to attend, you can read more, here.

The Future...

For our March event we're back at our regular Village Drinks Bristol haunt, Goldbrick House on Park Street.

We'll be announcing some great new initiatives soon that will build on everything we're doing to help make our all our lives as gay professionals that little bit nicer. Our forthcoming 'Village Helpers' scheme; Village Seminars, travel plans and….But oh, OH!!! We can't! Sorry... Not yet! It's just too early to say. And Alice is demanding we keep everyone in suspense. Again.**
