Now that our Business Society is up and running, we wanted to let you in on a little something else we've been planning for a few months now...
We're delighted to introduce Village Media - a night for anyone involved or simply interested in the media - from TV and online, journalism, film and everything else! This regular event joins our business events and our politico events, where invited guest speakers will talk on themes relating to the industry.
To launch this very special event, we're joined by Polly Toynbee, Guardian columnist and president of the Social Policy Association. She was formerly BBC social affairs editor, columnist and associate editor of the Independent, co-editor of the Washington Monthly and a reporter and feature writer for the Observer.
Polly Toynbee is a polarising figure, attracting both praise and criticism. She recently topped a poll of 100 "opinion makers", carried out by Editorial Intelligence. She was also named the most influential columnist in the UK!
We are delighted and privileged to have her on board.
SOME LIVE ENTERTAINMENT...
We'll also be joined by the BBC and Edelman, the world's largest independent PR firm and some of their clients).
